Make at Rosie is the product of a friendship forged over crafts.
Co-founders Clairissa and Cat met when they were pregnant, and quickly bonded over their shared love of serial, ADHD-style crafting. From shopping sprees at Austin Creative Reuse and Blue Genie Bazaar to coworking dates with knitting and embroidery, crafting together was a constant in their friendship.
Cat & Clairissa are also raging feminists and activists. They realized that there was a need for a space where people could come together to tap into their innate desire to create something beautiful, while also promoting a more just and fair society.
Make at Rosie is the result of their shared vision. It is a thriving community where people from all walks of life can come together to share their passion for crafting and hobbying. It is a place where all people can connect, learn new skills, and find inspiration for their own creative projects.
